Nightmare/Hundred blades?
Just an idea i got for melee rit
need a sword+energy mybe vamperic
Nightmare Weapon
Hundred Blades
good side this allows you to do your 2 hits in one takes 110+ dmg at once , this armor ignoring dosnt cause exahustion and allow you to gain tht much.
down side it takes your elite.
also could bring deadly ripost and the skill that lets block all incoming attacks and you gain 5energy each time you block.
build isnt ment for PVE btw.
i used it in ab with a friend who was using the same build I and we would both try to spike togther killing 1 person at a time with it usualy killing in about 2 .
I dont think the attack has 2 hit, cant rmember.
this was a copy off the nightmare duel shot rt/r spiker.

Is that your proposed concept for a Rt/W AB bar? That looks pretty awful if so.

I think there would be more then just 4 skills >.> Adding 4 more would make it look better.

Eh... it's one of those things that yeah, it'd work, but there's just a lot of better choices out there. I'd stick with the Rt/R variant, because it saves the elite skill slot, and i don't think there would be any other beneficial warrior skills to suit the build, really...

Actully ya, i was in HoH when i first saw the nightmare team build introduced
It was mostly rits with a few worriors they were ganking and doing 1 by 1 group spikes.
it was murder.
the build above is one tht works and does have more skills such as channled strike ect.
before it was nerfed.

no......
It's a bad concept. You would do better if you play a warrior and bring a conjure. It lasts longer than Nightmare weapon too.
If it's a spike build you want, change your secondary to assassin.

yea this is true
but you also have the rit runes / while under the effect of a weapon spell gain +10 armor stacking
and also it used to be so awsome
you could use channled strike hit for 50 then an additional 60 if your were under the effect of a weapon spell
then i would use another channeling dmg skill then hit with nightmare then i wld just do over agian bcse it wld be recharged
also i would use the interupt melle skill
it was fun i havnt done in a while becuz i was about to go with it agian and they nerfed channeling strike so badly i throw it away
but was just pointing the build out

It's not meant to be insulting. I'm just stating my opinion.
Builds built around Nightmare weapon aren't really "elite" imo. Most of them are gimmicks. Nightmare weapon+synced melee spikes+orders necro is a gimmick.
btw, post PvP builds in the Gladiator's Arena. Perhaps you'd get really insulting posts then.
Also, please follow forum rule #9:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/content...0.php#Language
Once again, not to be insulting, just constructive.

How the hell is that sarcasim, from where I sit its a perfectly logical and justifiable statement.
The build OP states fails, the build that was suggested is better, wheres the sarcasim?

10s recharge on nightmare weapon makes it suck for pressure. Unless you're spiking, it's useless.
Remember kids, it's not a spike unless it kills someone before the other person and their backline can react. 110 damage every 10 seconds, while pretty, isn't going to kill anything.

[hundred blades] is fail.
[bonetti's defense] + [deadly riposte] in AB is fail.
To be honest, Rt/A would provide a better spike and Rt/R Nightmare Marksman got range.
This build is a fun gimmick at best.

Hundred blades isn't BAD, it just isn't GOOD.
The big problem I see with this build is the fact that Nightmare Weapon will fizzle after just one and a half uses of Blades, so you have an okay nuke then have to wait 10 seconds...

then you are a melee fighter, what about your armour? you need to keep a weapon spell up to do that.

I wouldn't even call it ok...
yes it does suck that bad. Even if this combo was good, what else are you going to do with a Rt/W?
I'd much rather go Rt/A or P with [spirit's strength].

How about making a valid point for not using Rt/W before just saying something fails. Mastersasori made such a point. Spirit's strength as an elite makes hundred blades not even a useful elite.
I personally have fallen for a Rt/D Spirit's Strength build of my own devising using splinter weapon where things get hot and heavy. Have Scythe, will mangle!
